This blog is about Kaikohe, My home town.
Kaikohe is a town in the Far North of New Zealand Situated on state highway 12.
Kaikohe is about 260km from Auckland.
            The name Kaikohekohe was named after a berry that Kereru bird's eat,
Kaikohe is surrounded by Te Whare Tapu O Ngapuhi, a circle of mountains within Ngapuhi. This picture is a picture of the Kaikohe welcoming sign.
